The integral valve allows the user to breathe more easily and comfortably. Designed to withstand high temperature and humidty and will not collapse or lose its shape. Please note: This respirator should not be used for escape purposes and should be used in well ventilated areas (min 19.5% oxygen). This respirator is at least 92% efficient against fine dusts and water-based aerosols down to 0.5 microns and offers a nominal protection factor of 12 against dusts and 6 for particulate metal fumes i.e. it can be used in atmospheres containing up to 12 or 6 times the Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) of dust contaminant, as specified in Guidance Note EH40 from the Health and Safety Executive.
